Both Miss Rumphius and Chinese New Year are alike by they both do somthing important to celebrate there life. They are diffrent by Chinese New Year is mostly about the dinner and Miss Rumphius is about travling many places,living near the water, and making the world a little more beautful.

1.They are different because Miss Rumphius is about living near the sea, planting seeds, and traveling. But the other story is about a New Years celebration.
